Sandrine Duverne
Consultant and Researcher in cognitive neuroscience and psychology, CreaCog, Paris
WHO AM I
I have a PhD in cognitive psychology and I have worked for 15 years in public labs, including at the University of California in Berkeley and at Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris. Now, I am an independent consultant and I work with private companies and public institutions to help people tackle challenges in evolving and learning at work.
My work is at the interface between cognitive psychology (understanding the human mind), neuroscience (understanding how the brain works), human resources (supporting people at work to achieve the transformation of business and workplace), and learning (designing training programs to help people develop skills).
WHAT WILL I TALK ABOUT
During my workshop, entitled “How does your brain work to make career choices? Discover the neuroscience of decision making”, I would like to offer you the opportunity to discover how your brain works when you make decisions about your career. What challenges do you have to tackle? How can you overcome gender stereotypes that potentially hinder your decisions? What are the cognitive strategies you can rely on to facilitate your next professional move?
