We would like to invite you to the Science Polish Perspectives Meetup: Singapore. A networking event organised by Polonium Foundation, in partnership with the Embassy of Poland in Singapore and hosted at CREATE Tower, Singapore-ETH Centre on the 15th of December at 6 pm.

The event will bring together various international perspectives on research and development in Singapore. The program of the event will consist of event partners and speakers from academia sharing their perspectives, followed by a networking session (drinks and snacks will be provided). The speakers will include:

  • Magdalena Bogdziewicz, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Singapore

  • Dr Jasmine Lau, Associate Director Singapore-ETH Centre

  • Dr Grzegorz Lisak, Associate Professor, School of Civil and Environmental Engineering Director, NTU

  • Dr Agata Blasiak, Head of Digital Innovation at N.1, NUS

If you would like to meet fellow scientists in Singapore and share your experience on the benefits and challenges of global collaborations, save the date and register for the event here.

The event organiser, Polonium Foundation is a non-profit NGO that brings together Polish scientists around the world through conferences, workshops and networking events, as well as through our virtual platform Polonium Network. So far, our activities have been focused on Europe and the USA (e.g., the flagship event – SPP: Science Polish Perspectives in Oxford this year). SPP Meetup Singapore is the first time we venture out to Asia, and it’ll be an excellent opportunity to bring together different international perspectives (Polish, Singaporean, Swiss, and others…) on research, entrepreneurship and international collaboration.
