Katarzyna Anna Gryc works as Policy Officer in the European Commission, the Directorate General for Energy, supporting the definition and implementation of policies in the field of innovation, hydrogen economy and security of supply since the beginning of the Russian crisis. Previously, she has held different positions in the Directorate General for Transport and Mobility, working on the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure (hydrogen and electromobility) and on Connecting Europe Facility, on the portfolio of large infrastructure projects specifically related to the Cohesion policy and Member States, as well as in the implementation of the Single European Sky. She holds Masters degree with cum laude obtained in Finance and Strategy at the French Sciences Po Paris, and Masters degree in applied languages (German and English) at the University of Warsaw. She has worked i.a. in the financial sector (Ernst and Young) and was a trainee at the Foundation of Konrad Adenauer, working for the matters of democracy and training of journalists. She is genuinely interested in technology and public policies such as hydrogen and electromobility and in culture and literature of different parts of the world.
