The next Science: Polish Perspectives satellite event called SPP Meetup will take place in autumn 2017 in Berlin, starting a series of local events run by and for Polish researchers. The team in Berlin led by Radek Zwierz, a post-doctoral researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Crystal Growth, is organising a two-day conference hoping to unite the community of Polish researchers and leaders of business innovation in Germany.
The event is open to researchers of all disciplines at all stages of scientific career, and to research and business start-ups.
The main aims of the event are to:
Exchange scientific ideas and experiences
- Network: we are creating space where research and business partners can meet Polish talents in Germany and other German-speaking countries.
We couldn’t be more excited! The team is ready and now the work begins.
Polonium hopes that this event will spark many other SPP Meetups in different locations all over the world: from informal geek evenings over a beer to full scientific conferences - we are open for your suggestions!
Let us introduce you to the new members of the Polonium Family!
